Jeezus Criste(2021)

This is an assemblage of pieces of 5 different free models found via online 3D model resources. Combination of the different meshes were done via Meshmixer and then sent through Adobe Dimensions for rendering. Prior to this project I had only done texture work in Substance Painter, but learning how to actually manipulate mesh itself proved to be a fresh challenge.

In terms of the actual content of the model, this is meant to be satirical commentary on the new generation's lack of traditional religion, or religion altogether. I personally, also do not practice religion, so I decided to create a synthetic "god". None of the material on this model consist of natural textures; it's purposeful to represent how sometimes, people build their own "man made" religion in whatever way suits them and their beliefs.
